The underlying phenomenon of the present study is how visionary leadership influences employees' creativity and performance in the competitive and fast-changing business environment of the modern era. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of visionary leadership on employee creativity and performance and the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) between them. The originality of this study lies in the mediation process connecting visionary leadership to performance and creativity with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as the mediator, which has been less studied in Indonesian university settings. The sample subjects are 222 government officials and employees on employment contracts at Palangka Raya University, with a quantitative survey approach and data analysis using Smart PLS 4.1. The study confirms that visionary leadership has a positive impact on employee performance and creativity. Additionally, corporate citizenship behavior was also shown to play a mediating role in the link between visionary leadership and employee performance and creativity and consequently facilitate the building of a congenial and innovative work environment.
