Abstract

This study aims to measure the tendency of the relationship between the big five personality types and social entrepreneurship intentions with the role of perceptions of educational support as a moderator. There were 204 participants who were taken from final semester students (semester 6 and above) at Duta Wacana Christian University. The results of the validity and reliability tests showed that the personality types of agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism were valid and reliable. The results of the regression test showed that agreeableness did not significantly influence social entrepreneurship intentions, while conscientiousness and neuroticism had a significant and positive effect on social entrepreneurship intentions. The role of perceived educational support increases the significance of the influence of the three personality types on social entrepreneurship intentions.
