This study maps the development of marine tourism research in Indonesia within the framework of the maritime economy (2010–2025) using a bibliometric approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar due to its broad scope, encompassing journal articles, proceedings, and local publications. Data were then analyzed using CiteSpace to track trends, collaboration networks, keyword clusters, and topic dynamics over time. Findings show a consistent increase in publications, with a shift in focus from marine ecosystem conservation to strengthening the role of coastal communities, integrating the blue economy, and utilizing destination digitalization. Co-occurrence analysis confirmed five main clusters: conservation, community participation, sustainable maritime economy, digital transformation, and socio-cultural impacts. These results position marine tourism not merely as a tourist activity but as a strategic instrument for sustainable maritime economic development. This study also highlights the need for more systematic research mapping to align with national policies and strengthen Indonesia's global competitiveness in the maritime sector.
